The International Cricket Council (ICC) has decided on the host country for the Men’s ICC T20 world cup 2021, with the BCCI retaining hosting rights regardless of where the tournament is held.

IPL 2021 has already been cancelled due to India’s severe COVID pandemic, but the BCCI hopes to host the T20 World Cup in 2021. The venue and T20 world cup date in 2021 has been decided. The tournament will be held in the United Arab Emirates and Oman, according to the ICC.

2.  T20 World Cup 2021 Team Groups

 A total of 16 T20 world cup 2021 teams groups will be played. The BCCI will provide more details once everything is finalized. Although it has been confirmed that the 2021 match list Men’s World Cup will be held after the IPL in October. Papua New Guinea, Namibia, the Netherlands, Oman, Scotland, and Bangladesh are the teams competing in the first round. Two teams will advance from each group. These four teams will then join the eight teams that have already qualified for the Super 12 (India, West Indies, England, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Pakistan, and Afghanistan). The semi-finals will be held on November 10 and 11. The final of the ICC Men’s World cricket 2021, is expected to take place on November 14th.
